The List of Private university in Nigeria is a collection of institutions owned by individuals or private organizations. According to the National Universities Commission (NUC), there are 111 private universities in Nigeria. Admission to private universities is tough because they are the preferred study location for students taking JAMB exams. In addition, due to competition, the cut-off mark for these schools is greater than for private universities.
